Title: The Power to Establish

Text: Romans 16:25

The definition of Power is: the ability or capability to do something.

Jesus was given power once he was baptized. The Lord anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and Power consequently, Jesus was able to perform miracles and signs and wonders.

God”s power is the only great power. Every other power is insubordinate in comparison to that of the God we serve.

What makes God:God, is His power. Every power can be challenged. That of the Prime Minister, or our parents, But God”s power cannot be challenged because He is God.

It is with this power that God establishes. And when God establishes, nobody can question this establishment.

Five areas can establish you by His Power

1. God can establish You in the faith (In Christ Jesus)

Isaiah 54:14.

We need to firmly rooted in God to avoid us wavering in the world.

2.In business

3. In a family

Isaiah 51:1-2

4. In your health. Health is wealth.

5. Financially. The condition to receiving establishment in wealth: Remember the Lord Your God.

But:

A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E

1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5=100%

THEN, look how far the Love of God will take you:

L-O-V-E-O-F-G-O-D

12+15+22+5+15+6+7+15+4=101%

Therefore, one can conclude with mathematical certainty that: Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there, It’s the Love of God that will put you over the top!

What is attitude: as a  noun, attitude is a settled way of thinking or feeling.

The position of the body in the way it carries itself. The way you talk also counts as attitude.

This is why your mindset and your attitude is your stronghold. Something that has the power to hold you and not let you go.

The truth is the Word of God, and the Word of God is the truth. Therefore, if your attitude contradicts the word of God, then you are not for the Lord and cannot call yourself a Christian.

Our life is programmed to behave in a way that is pleasing to the environment we live. However, we encounter unpleasant situations and this makes us to react negatively because our mindset will not allow such things to keep us off track.

What should be my attiude towards God be?

-Total Devotion

-Love

-Commitment

What should my attitude towards life be?

-Simplicity (take life easy)

If you handle life simply, you will have peace constantly.

-Understanding that life is futile (it’s vain)

Things like pleasure are considered to be futile. Pleasure is only good in the right context.

Do not allow the world system to determine what success is to you. For the world to consider you to be a successful person, you must have earn a certain amount and have a amount of figures for you to be successful.

What God counts as successful is meeting the targets, fulfilling the destiny that he has created for you and making Him happy as your Father in Heaven.

As Christians, we need to treat the things of this world as if they are fleeting. We need to enjoy things sparingly. We need to hold them by the ends so that if God asks for them back, we can do so willingly.

Attitude to Giving:

-Giving is very good. God wants for us to bless others as he blesses us. If we fail to bless others with the little God blesses us with, we shouldn’t expect God to bless us with greater things.

Attitude to receiving:

-We need to be humble and open to recieving. God can use anybody to touch your life. Help can come from every corner but we need to learn to stop being arrogant and receive help.

What is Grace?

-God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense

-God’s Unmerited Favour

God’s Grace enables us to reign in life despite the fact that we deserve death over and over again due to the numerous amount of times we have committed sins.

Through God’s Grace, we are able to behave like kings and queens and command our wants.

We need to understand that as Christians, Christ will forever love us. Spiritual disciplines will not cause God to love us more or less but instead to humble ourselves.

Receiving the gift of Righteousness:

Spiritual Impact: We were healed by the stripes and beatings that he bore on the cross.

Emotional impact: God enjoys us. Previously, he loved us but was unable to enjoy us because we had fallen short of the Glory of God.
