Title: Locating and Handling your God-Ordained Purpose/Destiny
Text: Genesis 12:1-3

A lot of us wonder why it is that we are born into this dispensation. We question our existence and why it is God created us. Sometimes our doubts can allow the enemy to make us turn the wrong way, though in our eyes it seems right. This can then lead us to enter into an alternate destiny thereby leading us to hell.

The race of life requires us to be vigilant and to be sensitive to things around us. The devil is always around tempting us with his offers, to have us away from our Destiny hence why we should put on our armour of God to shield ourselves.

Life will always be unfair, with turbulent periods, but God assures us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. This will require us not to shift our gaze away from Him.

When you are resilient in serving God, He supplys all your needs and you will experience successful progress that shows forth His glory all around you.

Many people wrongly define what success is. To some people, success is being the best of the best. The one on top, the greatest man. But man’s definition of success concludes with destruction. What they have built up and leaned on, suddenly comes crashing down. This sometimes leads to suicide. True success is what God calls success. Hebrews defines success as help already being on the way.

Material wealth is not a measure of success, it can crumble within a second. The real success is provided only by ‘GOD’, who holds the key to success.

You should be expectant from God, but making this a reality will require you setting your faith loose and: through this, the vision to your greatness can be made manifest.

God wants to bless us. God wants us to be a blessing.

Title: Take Charge of your destiny
Texts: Matthew 13:25-28, Job 38: 12-13

Your destiny is God’s plan for your life. And as Jeremiah said, God’s thoughts and his plan for our life are of good and not of evil.

Sowing a seed is not enough. You must watch over the seed you sow, for it to successfully grow. Watching is more than just in the flesh, your spiritual eyes must also watch over your destiny for it to be fruitful.

Solutions to every problem is very simple. All you need is revelation from God. But to receive this, we need to be spiritually alert at all times. We need to take control and be in charge of times and seasons as well as our destinies.

It is proven that the enemy is afraid of our God. This is why he comes when we are sleeping-our only unguarded hour. The enermy is a coward and comes just before harvest time. This is when you must release your God given weapon.

The Sermon: Pastor Mrs. Fabiyi
Title: Break the Mould

A mould is a set shape that can only be used for one purpose. Once the product shape is no longer in fashion, the mould more or less goes out of use. As Christians, we need to aim to move unto the next level instead of staying in the same mould for too long. God wishes for us to experience His different beautiful attributes. However, when we refuse to break the mould, God cannot fulfill His desired purpose in us.

Expectations lead to manifestations. If you come to God with determination then you will surely receive the reward. We need to rid of anything that is holding us from fulfilling the will of God in our life.

We need to break the mould by enduring a surgery that will cause us to be malleable to the hands of God. And to dgfev online casino break this mould, we need to undergo the actions that Jeremiah 4:3-6 says. By doing this, God can fully work in our lives and thereby allowing us to fulfill our destinies.

What is a fallow ground?
-A heart that is hardened. An unprepared, stubborn and self-willed land. It is therefore unproductive where rubbish resides.
We need to break up the fallow ground that is our heart. We need to rid ourselves of fallow ground and anything that causes us to have fallow ground in our lives.

Text: Numbers 21

The world is facing a turbulent period and it is only those who know their God who will survive it. As Christians, we need to focus on God at all times and not pay attention to the whims and woes of the world. You have to develop a good relationship with God and be attentive to His Word intermitently to direct you to the right path that leads to your breakthrough.

We should always remember God”s benefits. Even though we don”t deserve it; but by His mercy He gave them to casino spiele us generously. That is the more reason why we need to appreciate Him.

Whose report should you believe? God”s own or people”s own? When you are impatient, trials can make you take decisions that makes the devil celebrate and dissapoints God.

Title: Forgivness Matters
Text: Ephesians 4:30-32

Forgiveness matters in every Christian life because it is a true way to heaven. Forgiveness is defined as the act of assuming that a wrong act in the past was never committed. Another way to define forgiveness is a grace in action. To forgive is also to let go when someone commits a sin against another. Another word for forgiveness is to show mercy.

When you forgive, the wrong that hurts is totally forgotten, and you completely let go without revenging.

Why must we forgive?

Forgiveness is not an approval. When you forgive someone, it doesn”t mean you approve of what they do,
you are simply releasing the hurt that they have caused you. (John 8:11)

Forgiving someone doesn”t mean you have forgotten what they have done The free-credits-report.com is worth $2,500; the online casino really good news is that $1,000 of that is refundable, meaning you could get that back as a refund even if you don’t owe any taxes. to you. Forgiveness is not the issue of reconciliation nor is it an excuse. Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door that sets you free.

Don”t make a public show of your forgiveness and renconciliation but forgive out of the purity of heart and with restoration in mind. Forgiveness must be unilaterally carried out by you alone bringing peace to the heart when done.

Why must we forgive?
[list style=”cross”]
[item]God is the author and initiator of forgiveness.[/item]
[item]God has forgiven us for all our sins so why can we not forgive?[/item]
[item]It brings peace and relief to your heart.[/item]
[item]It is an act of love that we must all show.[/item]
[item]Because it gives room for answered prayers.[/item]
[item]It gives God room to forgive us in return.[/item]
[item]Jesus forgave his disciples and plenty of other people many times.[/item]
[/list]

Forgiveness is a painful act and at times it requires a big sacrifice. When done, in totality, without bitterness, the reward is great.

The essential tool to forgiveness is that it gives room for answered prayers.

The red sea is a type of Baptism – The Isrealites passed through this. They were being led by Moses who represented Christ. Moses led them forward into their lives.

It is good to obey the Lord. To obey is better than to sacrifice.

Title: Following His Steps
Text: 1 Peter 2:21

How you started may be insignificant because of the circumstances that surrounds you. You ought to know that the journey to maturity is never accomplished in one day. But be rest assured that when you live by the word of God and you don’t depart from it, you will fulfill your destiny.

There is proclamation from Heaven that we should be fruitful and have dominion.Hence, we should not look dejected wherever you are because the Voice from above is God’s assurance for us; His children.

We should not be complacent with God’s word, we need to seek God diligently because those who do extraordinary things get miraculous things in return.

The Prayer of today is the breakthrough of tomorrow. Pray everyday and never get tired of praying.

-Stand Out (2 Kings 2:1-8)
-Dare to fly (Isaiah 40:31)

Major reasons why we should be different:
-We do not desire the position of an ex-champion
-God has commanded us to be different
-Because we want to get the crown

Challenges in life are inevitable but the bigger the challenges you face, the greater the crown.

Title: The Power of Humility
Text: 1 Corinthians 15:9-10

Humility is a trait that everyone should aspire to accquire.
We should always cultivate the habit of praising God always rather than complaining of challenges we face daily. Appreciate God for what He has done.

Dangers of online casino being arrogant:
-The heavens will be shut against them. No cry for help will be heard from them by God.
Pride leads to self destruction and those who are proud end up in shame.
-God Himself supervises your destruction and downfall

It takes the grace of God to be humble especially amongst men of God.
Without God”s Grace on your life, we can do nothing.

Blessings of being humble:
-God gives them Grace
-They will inherit the earth (everything they need in life will be supplied)

TEXT: 2 Cor. 3:13-18; Heb. 5:11-14

INTRODUCTION: There are three possibilities for any Christian who started the race to heaven very well. (i) S/He may backslide, (ii) S/He may stagnate and (iii) S/He may continue to improve daily till s/he becomes as perfect as her/his heavenly father. It is the third possibility that we wish to consider, that is, how to grow from glory to glory. May the Lord teach us Himself, in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. GOD EXPECTS US TO GROW CONTINUOUSLY.

1 Cor. 3:1-2; 1 Pet. 2:2; Eph. 4:14, Heb. 5:12; Job. 17: 9; Ps. 84: 7; 1 Cor. 14:20; Ps. 92:12; Prov. 4:18; 1 Tim. 4: 15; Heb.6:1.

Some Christians feed on milk, while others feed on solid meat. Milk is for the new-born babes and God does not expect us to be babes for ever. In fact, He expects us to grow and become teachers of others. Even those already holy are expected to go on to higher ground steadily and continuously. We are expected daily to grow higher, broader and deeper, while our light shines brighter and brighter.

2. GOD HAS HIS WAYS OF LEADING PEOPLE TO PERFECTION.

Is. 55:8; Gen. 37:6-8; 1 Cor. 10:23-24; 13:1-2; Gen. 37:11-20; Song. 8:6; 1 John 3:14; John 3:27; Gen. 39:1-7; Phil. 4:6-7; 1 Tim. 2:1-3; Pro. 29:2; Gen. 39: 7-20; 1 Cor. 6: 18; Gen. 39:13-20; 1 Pet. 2:20; 5:10; Act. 5:41; Rom. 8:17; Matt. 25: 23; Rom. 8:28.

By studying the life to Joseph, we can discover more of God’s Way of leading people to perfection. Joseph started by being gifted, but insensitive. God then put him under various authorities, first as a slave and then as a prisoner in order to train the Spiritual gifts in Him. This would thereby turn him to a perfect ruler. God can do the same for you today.

3. CONCLUSION.

It is important for us to know that the Lord expects us to keep on growing. The height, breadth and width of God are unsearchable. There is no limit to them. And because God is limitless, then the potential of how much we are able to grow in God is limitless. There are higher heights, and there are deeper depths. We are the determinants of how deep in God we want to grow.

SONG: I will dig a little deeper, Jesus’ love must be deep; And I will dig a little deeper, deeper yet!

TEXT: Jer. 7:23-24; Heb. 11:32-40

INTRODUCTION: To get to our goal which is heaven, we need to keep on pressing forward. Why? Because going forward will always lead to making the goal. Going backward will never lead to the goal, but would always take you far from it. May the Lord quicken our understanding as we study in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

1. THE BLESSING IN PRESSING FORWARD.

Phil. 3:12-15; II Tim. 4:7 -8; II Pet. 1:8-11; Heb. 10:25; Heb. 12:14; Col.1:28; Eph. 4: 13.

God’s blessings are for those who press forward:

(i) You will discover you have not arrived.
(ii) Sooner or later you will arrive safely to your goal.
(iii) You can achieve these blessings by going forward in Bible study to
discover that Holiness and perfection is the key to Heaven.

2. DANGERS IN BACKSLIDING.

Exo. 14:8; Gen. 19:26; Luke 9:61-62; Gal. 5:1; Rev. 2:4; Luke 11:24-26; II Tim. 4:10.

There are dangers ahead for looking back:

(i) Enemies are at the back of every Christians.
(ii) Backsliders are not fit for the Kingdom of God.
(iii) They will nbso become slaves to the devil again.
(iv) There will be no more love for God in their lives.
(v) The devil has a free access to come into their lives.
(vi) They will be worldly-minded.
(vii) Their end will be worse than their original state.

3. EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE WHO PRESSED FORWARD.

Num 14:2-10; 11 Tim. 4:7-8; Acts. 20: 24; Zech. 4:6-9; John 17: 4; John 19:30.

(i) Joshua and Caleb;
(ii) Paul the Apostle;
(iii) Zerubbabel;
(iv) Jesus Christ, our Lord.

4. DISCUSSION: What practical steps can we take to ensure that we are pressing forward toward the goal?

TEXT: Ex. 20:1-17.

INTRODUCTION: All Christians know about the big sins: murder, adultery, fornication, lying, anger, covetousness, stealing, etc. They therefore avoid them like the plague. But little sins, they do not worry much about, Heb. 12:1. Yet it is these little sins that will send many people to hell. May the Lord Himself teach us today in Jesus, name. Amen.

1. LITTLE FOXES SPOIL THE VINE.

Eccl. 10:1; Song of Solomon 2:15; I Cor. 5:6; Matt. 16:6; Gal. 5:7-9; Pro. 6:9-11; 24:30-34.

Just like a drop of poison can render a bucket of water undrinkable, or dead flies make a precious ointment stink, so does little sins destroy mighty men and women of God. A little leaven is all that is needed to leaven a whole lump and little sin is all that is required to ruin a beautiful testimony.

2. ANYTHING NOT TOO BAD IS ALREADY BAD.

II Sam.11:1-7; I Kings 13:7-24; James 3:3-5; Gen. 12:1-4. 10: Gen. 16:14-15; John 16:6-20; II Kings 13:14-19; Is. 39:1-2.

From the scriptures above, are you able to point out some of the little foxes that we need to be careful about?

3. CONCLUSION

Are there other little foxes that we can mention from our individual experiences that we need to be mindful of? Please, share with us.

PRAYER:

Lord, I ask that you cleanse me from all unrighteousness and destroy all the little foxes that have the potential to take me to hell. Remove these from my life in Jesus’ name.

TEXT: Romans 7:1-25

INTRODUCTION: Many Christians have big problems with their bodies: what they do not want to do is what they keep doing and; what they would have loved to do, they just fail to do them. This is not a new problem (Rom 7: 19). How can this problem be solved? How do we deal with the flesh? May the Lord grant us victory as we study today in Jesus’ name Amen.

1. COOPERATING WITH THE FLESH WILL SPELL DISASTER.

Rom 7:18, 25; Rom 8:8, 13; Rom. 6:23; Rom 8:6; Gal. 6:8; Jam. 1:15, 5:20; Rom. 13:4.

There is no good thing in the flesh; all it wants to do is sin. Yet the wages of (result of, payment for) sin is death. Moreover, anyone who cooperates with the flesh will reap the fruits of corruption i.e. curses, sorrows, and problems. That is why he, who converts a sinner, saves a soul from death and many serious troubles.

2. DON’T TAKE IT EASY WITH THE FLESH: IT IS YOUR ENEMY!

Gal. 5:16; Col. 3:5; I Cor. 9:27; I Pet. 2:11; Rom. 13:14; Rom. 6:6; Gal. 5:24; II Tim. 2:22; I Thess. 4:3-5; Matt. 5:28; 18:8-9; John 15:5.

There are several advices the Bible gives us on how to deal with the flesh. These include (i) saying “no” to the demands of the flesh (ii) mortifying it (iii) keeping it under (iv) abstaining from its lusts, (v) making no provision to satisfy its lusts (vi) flee from dangerous zones and (vii) amputating offending members of the body.

3. REVIEW QUESTIONS:

  1. What is the mean of the word, “Flesh”?
  1. Why is there a constant conflict between what we don’t want to do and what the flesh wants to do?
  1. What does the Bible mean when it says, “mortify or kill the flesh”?
  1. What are the way(s) that the Bible prescribes to us, in which we can “kill” the flesh?
  1. What are the practical day-to-day ways we can “kill” the flesh?
